I've already paid, when will I receive my card?
Your card will not be issued immediately. You must wait for the institution that granted you the discount to validate your request and, only after validation, can your card be issued (if you meet the requirements). Once approved and issued, you will receive an email with your card number.
We always suggest checking your spam folder to make sure you haven’t received the email with your new card details or any communication from ISIC Portugal.
If you have ordered a physical card, paid for it and have not yet received it at your address, please check the waybill sent by email and contact CTT for more information about sending your card.
I haven't paid yet, what are the next steps?
If you have entered the documents correctly and your application has been approved, you must make the payment.
Once the payment has been validated and received, your card will be issued and you will receive an email with the card details.
Why hasn't my card been issued yet?
There are several reasons why we can’t issue your card, for example:
- Your educational institution has not yet approved your card application;
- Your educational institution has not approved your card application because you do not have active enrollment or another reason;
- The photograph does not meet the requirements for issuing an ID card;
- The proof of date of birth does not have the data visible;
- The uploaded files do not open.
I received a virtual card, but I want to receive a physical card, how should I proceed?
To receive your physical card, we ask that you make a bank transfer of the shipping costs to IBAN PT50 0035 0127 00057215130 54 and send us an email to pagamentos@isic.pt with the following details:
- Proof of payment of the shipping costs (Simple Registered Mail – €3.20);
- Shipping address (we only ship to Portuguese addresses);
- Identification of the card you want to receive (cardholder’s name and/or card number).
