I've already applied for my card, but I haven't received an email yet. What should I do?
Your card will not be issued immediately. You must wait for your educational institution to validate your request and only after validation can your card be issued (if you meet the requirements). After approval, you will receive an email with your card number.
We always suggest you check your Spam box to make sure you haven’t received the email with your new card details or any communication from ISIC Portugal.
Why hasn't my card been issued yet?
There are several reasons why we can’t issue your card, for example:
- Your educational institution has not yet approved your card application;
- Your educational institution has not approved your card application because you do not have active enrollment or another reason;
- The photograph does not meet the requirements for issuing an ID card;
- The proof of date of birth does not have the data visible;
- The uploaded files do not open.
I received a virtual card, but I want to receive a physical card, how should I proceed?
The agreement established with your educational institution only covers the issuing of virtual cards, so we are unable to issue your card in physical format.
