Douro Museum

Combining tradition and modernity, the Douro Museum is a collective space of memory and identity of the wine region, in constant dialogue with the present, and at the same time, as a tool for the enhancement of activities related to wine, cultural tourism and wine tourism.

The museum has a central space-exhibition area where you can find the permanent exhibition "Douro: Matéria e Espírito". Around this exhibition space is situated the restaurant «A Companhia», the store, the file, the library, the reading room, the Center for conservation and restoration, the Wine Bar and Terrace in the garden overlooking the Douro river.
